​Our Mission

At Operation Pawpulation, our mission is to increase access to care by providing low-cost spay and neuter services for dogs and cats in our community. We strive to reduce pet overpopulation and alleviate the overcapacity crisis in Utah shelters and rescues. By improving the health and behavior of pets, we aim to ensure they remain beloved family members.

 

Why We Exist

The Need:

• Rising Overpopulation: Since 2020, there has been a significant increase in unwanted litters due to limited access to affordable spay/neuter services.

• Shelter Overcapacity: More animals are entering shelters than leaving, leading to an overcapacity crisis not just in Utah but across the U.S. and Canada.

• Financial Barriers: Increasing costs at many clinics make essential surgeries inaccessible for many pet owners.
